Why pink?

Believe it or not, pink wasn’t always our signature colour! When we first launched, we played it safe with a neutral palette because that’s what we thought a “successful” agency should look like. But as we evolved, we realized that the most iconic brands are the ones that stand out, not blend in. So, we stepped both stilettoed feet into what makes us us—bold, ultra-feminine, and unapologetically confident. Pink isn’t just a colour; it’s a statement. It represents power, femininity, and confidence—everything Socials & Stilettos embodies.

Is Netflix’s “Emily in Paris” a true representation of what it’s like to work in a marketing agency?

Accepted Answer

Yes and no! Working in marketing is so much fun and full of creativity, but “Emily in Paris” doesn’t quite show the blood, sweat, and stilettos that go into building and executing powerhouse campaigns. Marketing is more than just aesthetics—it’s analytics, strategy, and teamwork. But at Socials & Stilettos, we do believe in making the work just as fun as it is rewarding. From collaborating on exciting campaigns to traveling for industry events (yes, we do get to jet-set! San Francisco, anyone?), working in a marketing agency is an incredible experience. It’s also just a lot of hard work!

Does Brittney really drive a pink car?

Accepted Answer

Short answer? Yes! She drives a 2001 convertible Mustang, and if you see her zipping around Toronto or the GTA, don’t be afraid to stop and say hi!

Do you work with companies outside of Toronto?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We work with brands globally, with most of our clients based in Canada and the U.S. Depending on the project, we’ll either travel to your business or work with you remotely—whatever makes the most sense for your brand and goals.

What’s your view on using AI in marketing?

Accepted Answer

This is a loaded question! We see AI as an amazing tool in our marketing toolkit, but not the whole toolbox. We love using AI to streamline workflows—whether that’s condensing reports or helping us structure our thoughts. But at the end of the day, nothing replaces the connection and impact of a real, organic voice. That’s why every piece of content we create is curated by one of our expert Socialistas to ensure it’s strategic, on-brand, and packed with personality.

How do you prioritize diversity in marketing?

Diversity and inclusion aren’t just buzzwords for us—they’re non-negotiables. We’re always looking for ways to create inclusive content, whether that means using skin tone-neutral emojis, ensuring our influencer partnerships represent a diverse range of backgrounds, or expanding our knowledge on how to make marketing more inclusive. Prioritizing diversity is a team-wide commitment, and we hold ourselves accountable in every campaign we create.
